International Short Film Festival of Cyprus

ISFF

Last night I went to the opening of the International Short Film Festival of Cyprus.
It’s a 1 week event and I will be blogging every night on my favorite movies. Last night my favorites were from Brazil: Meu Amigo Nietzsche (My friend Nietzsche) Unfortunately, I did not find a subtitled full movie for this one, so if you do please let me know.

Another favorite was Slomo: The Man Who Skated Right Off the Grid from USA.

As a person that is deeply passionate about Travel, I start to think about these different cultures and lands and the people when I’m viewing these films. I thought about Brazil when viewing the movie from Brazil. I thought about my future trip to Brazil. The beautiful Portuguese language, the friendly people with big smiles and even bigger hearts.

When I was watching the USA film I thought about California and my past trip to California. I was reminded of that laidback beach lifestyle and those extremely friendly and approachable people that live there. California is an amazing state, and possibly my favorite in the United States. I cannot wait to go back.
