Choosing a holiday destination can take a really long time. There are so many great places to see in the world, but you only have so much money to spend!
If I had to recommend a wonderful holiday destination, I’d say France. One of the most famous countries on Earth and home to the lovely city of Paris. I’ve come up with a list of things you should do if you go on holiday to France. See below for all the details:
See The Eiffel Tower
No trip to France would be complete without seeing the Eiffel Tower. It’s one of the most iconic pieces of architecture in the world. It’s not one of the seven wonders of the world, but it probably came in a close eighth! The Eiffel Tower makes the perfect background for any photo opportunity, so get those selfie sticks out. Also, take a trip up to the top of the tower if you have time. Once at the top, you’ll get a view of Paris that will take your breath away. You can see for miles and admire all the sights and sounds of Paris from the iconic tower. Definitely something to put on your to do list!
Go To Disneyland
You can’t go to France without visiting Disneyland Paris! If you have kids, it makes the perfect family vacation. Even if you don’t, it’s still worth going with some friends or your partner. The moment you step through the gates your childhood comes flooding back to your memory. It truly is a magical place; you can’t help but smile while you’re there. Plus, there are actually some fun rides there too! For thrill seekers, there’s the legendary Space Mountain, and it’s more rocky cousin Big Thunder Mountain. There’s also some simulation rides and a whole lot more for people of all ages. Also, when the sun goes down, Disneyland can turn into a really romantic location, perfect for loved ones.
If you’re going to France, then you have to spend some of your trip in Provence. You’ll find it down in the south east of France, and it’s home to some marvellous things. The provence countryside is a thing of beauty. Acre upon acre of flower filled fields, shining with colour. The most famous fields are the lavender ones, which are truly a sight to behold. Also, Provence is home to some wonderful history, like Roman ruins and an ancient stone village. While you’re in Provence, it’s always recommended you have a walk through the streets of Marseille. This large French city is incredibly unique and certainly pleasing to the eye.
Visit The Louvre
Add a bit of culture to your holiday and visit The Louvre. This is one of the largest museums on earth, and home to many wonderful exhibits. When people think of France, they generally think of The Louvre too. See some famous artwork and sculptures in a fantastically beautiful setting. It’s also the home of one of the most famous pieces of art in the world, the Mona Lisa. If that doesn’t convince you to go for a little visit, I don’t know what will.
