Sunday Brunching at The Cookhouse

On Sunday, my brother along with his fiancée kidnapped me & took me to The Cookhouse for brunch here in Limassol. From across the street this place doesn’t look like much. It’s only when you get closer and inside that you notice its beauty and charm.

We didn’t have a reservation, and after experiencing their busy Sunday brunch rush hour, I am definitely making a reservation next time. We only waited 10-15 minutes for a table to open up, but when this is your first food stop of the day, that seems like a while to your stomach.

We were seated at the entrance of the outside patio on a long table that could seat about a dozen people comfortably. The menu was delicious!

With any new place I visit, I sort of have to scan through most of the menu first, see what all my options are, and then narrow it down to 2-3 items, and then finally pick what I want the most. It’s always a process, hence why I do better with less choices. I wasn’t craving anything sweet, so I skipped the American pancake section & went for the savoury brunch options instead.

The Cookhouse is most definitely my kinda place. It’s very hipster cool, and artsy. It very much reminds me of Shoreditch area in London. The music was very relaxing and yet just the right kind of upbeat for a Sunday brunch. The staff was super friendly here, and that’s always a huge plus for me. The crowd was awesome & it would be very easy to meet people here.

This place is very relaxed and just trendy enough at the same time. With the menu and food items, they use the best products here and they put their own spin on things. I went with the Spinach & Feta Quiche and my drink choice was one of the cold pressed juices: Pineapple, Apple & Lime were the ingredients for mine.

We all picked out delicious food & drink options and the truth is we were all hungry for more! 🙂

If you stay for over 30-40 minutes here, you will notice that people are just coming in and going, and the tables and the seating arrangements just keep changing.

I absolutely love this place & can definitely see it as one of my new blogging hangout spots. I also want to try out more of their food options, so I will be returning for sure! 🙂
