It doesn’t matter how cheap it is! Here are some things you should think about if this is something you’re interested in:

Before you buy a property in a foreign country you should know exactly how you’re going to use it. Some people rent it out, some people live in it, others do a bit of both. By knowing how you’ll use this property, you’ll be able to search for the perfect property for you. For example, if you’re targeting families visiting Majorca, then you want a property near all amenities and fun stuff. If you’re going to live in it yourself, then it needs to be suited to your own lifestyle.

Do You Love this Country Enough?

This country should be a country you’re at least interested in if you’re buying a property there, even if you don’t plan on living there yourself. You may want to visit from to time, or buy more properties to make a bigger return on investment. The more you like the country, the better.

Having a reliable company to help you purchase your property is a must. Make sure you do your research and read testimonials to find a place that will have your best interests at heart.
